Balochistan Home Department Launches E-Filing Dashboard to Boost Transparency and Efficiency

QUETTA: On the special directives of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the Balochistan Home Department has released details of its newly introduced electronic filing dashboard aimed at improving transparency and administrative efficiency.

Additional Secretary Home Hamza Shafqaat shared information about the system on social media platform X, stating that under the modern dashboard, the movement of every file can now be tracked in real time. The system shows which officer currently holds a file, how long it has been pending, and how many files are under process.

He explained that the new digital mechanism makes it impossible to conceal delays, as the system maintains a complete record and highlights any bottlenecks in the workflow. As a result, unnecessary delays within the department have been reduced, leading to faster decision-making for citizens.

According to Hamza Shafqaat, internal reviews conducted over the past two months indicate a 150 percent improvement in departmental performance following the implementation of the electronic filing dashboard.
