Islamabad ATC Grants Bail to Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chattha

An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Islamabad has granted bail to Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chattha in a case related to an alleged clash with police and protest activities.

The hearing was conducted by ATC Judge Abualhasanat Muhammad Zulqarnain, who took up the post-arrest bail petitions filed by the accused.

During the proceedings, defense counsel Riasat Ali Azad argued that the case was baseless and suddenly surfaced without prior knowledge. He stated that he himself is also nominated in the case but was unaware that an FIR had even been registered.

The defense maintained that the FIR was lodged over a fabricated and non-existent incident, calling the charges unfounded.

After hearing arguments from both sides, the court approved the bail petitions. The judge granted post-arrest bail to both accused against surety bonds of Rs10,000 each.

The case against Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chattha was registered at the Secretariat Police Station in Islamabad.
