CTD Kills 14 Militants in Separate Operations in Quetta and Barkhan

The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has claimed to have killed 14 militants in separate operations carried out in Quetta and Barkhan.

According to a CTD spokesperson, an operation was conducted in the Darakhshan area of Quetta, where eight militants were killed during an exchange of fire. Three CTD personnel were also injured in the gun battle.

Authorities said weapons and ammunition were recovered from the slain suspects. The militants are believed to be affiliated with a banned organization; however, investigations are ongoing to confirm their identity and network.

In a separate intelligence-based operation in Barkhan, six more militants were killed during a firefight. The CTD spokesperson stated that the deceased militants were involved in subversive activities and that arms and explosive materials were recovered from their possession.
