QESCO Announces Uninterrupted Power Supply During Sehr, Iftar and Tarawih in Ramzan

QUETTA: The Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) has finalized special arrangements to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply during Sehr, Iftar, and Tarawih hours in the holy month of Ramzan.

On the directives of QESCO Chief Executive Officer Engineer Yousaf Shah Khan, a Regional Control Room has been established at the Power Distribution Center (PDC) at QESCO Headquarters under the supervision of general managers and the chief engineer. The control room will monitor the power situation to ensure continuous electricity supply during key religious hours throughout Ramzan.

According to the company, there will be no load-shedding in Quetta city during Sehr, Iftar, and Tarawih. Similarly, all district headquarters outside Quetta will also receive uninterrupted electricity during these hours. However, rural feeders across the province will continue to receive electricity according to their existing load management schedules.

Additionally, special complaint redressal teams have been formed at the division and sub-division levels under the supervision of superintending engineers in all operation circles. These teams will address technical faults, ensure timely replacement of transformers, and resolve individual consumer complaints promptly.

Consumers can register complaints regarding power outages by calling 118 or by sending an SMS with their electricity bill reference number to 8118. Complaints can also be lodged through QESCO’s central complaint cell at 081-9201445 or through relevant sub-division offices. For added convenience, consumers may also submit complaints via WhatsApp at 03198088439 by attaching a copy of their electricity bill and providing their active mobile number to help ensure accurate location identification and swift restoration of power.
