Report on Imran Khan’s Jail Facilities Submitted to Supreme Court

ISLAMABAD: A report detailing the facilities provided to Imran Khan at Adiala Jail has been submitted to the Supreme Court of Pakistan by the jail superintendent.
According to the report, the PTI founder is housed in a seven-cell compound within the prison. The compound includes a corridor measuring 57 feet in length and 14 feet in width, along with an adjacent lawn area measuring approximately 35 by 37 feet.
The report states that Imran Khan spends time in the lawn reading books and newspapers and sitting in the sun. The seven-cell compound has the capacity to accommodate between 30 and 35 inmates.
It further mentions that he has been provided with a cycling machine and other gym equipment for exercise. Access to natural light and fresh air is ensured from morning until evening. The report adds that he is being kept in a secure environment with improved-class facilities.
Details regarding food provisions available at personal expense within the jail have also been included in the submission to the Supreme Court.
