No Demand from Imran Khan to Go Abroad for Treatment, Government Not Considering It: Khawaja Asif

ISLAMABAD: Khawaja Asif, Pakistan’s Defense Minister, has denied reports circulating on social media claiming that Imran Khan has demanded to travel abroad for medical treatment.
In a statement posted on social media, Khawaja Asif rejected what he described as propaganda being spread by certain elements. He clarified that Imran Khan has made no request to be sent overseas for treatment, nor is the government considering any such move.
“These are merely media reports with no basis in fact,” he said, dismissing the claims as unfounded.
The clarification comes after widespread speculation online suggesting that the former prime minister had sought permission to travel abroad for medical care.
