Student’s Humorous Complaint to Maryam Nawaz Goes Viral: “Why Isn’t My Laptop Lit?

ISLAMABAD: A video of a student humorously addressing Maryam Nawaz, Chief Minister of Punjab, has gone viral on social media, attracting widespread attention for its witty and relatable tone.
In the video, the student jokingly complains that while “all of Pakistan is glowing” and the streets of Lahore and Murree are brightly lit, her laptop with illuminated keys has yet to arrive. “It was my childhood dream to have a laptop with lights,” she said.

She added that she has to use an external light to see the keyboard because her sisters insist on turning off the room lights by 10 PM. “So what am I supposed to do?” she asked, highlighting her playful frustration.
Social media users quickly responded to the clip with amusement, praising the student’s unique style and sense of humor. Some joked that her next request might be to personalize the laptop with butterflies, while others remarked on the nation’s ever-growing appetite for quirky grievances.
