Latif Khosa Writes to Supreme Court, Seeks Imran Khan’s Medical Reports

Islamabad: Senior lawyer Latif Khosa has written a letter to the Supreme Court of Pakistan seeking the release of medical reports of former prime minister Imran Khan.

In his letter addressed to Chief Justice Yahya Afridi, Khosa demanded that the medical reports of the PTI founder be provided to his legal team and family. He also requested that Khan’s personal physicians, Dr. Faisal and Dr. Asim, be allowed to examine him.

The letter further urged the court to order Khan’s transfer to Al-Shifa International Hospital for medical treatment.

According to the contents of the letter, Khan’s declining health has become a source of concern for his family and the public. It claimed that he has been deprived of basic facilities during his illness and that although a medical examination was conducted on court orders, his family was not informed.

Khosa termed as baseless the claim that Khan’s family members and party leaders were invited to attend the medical examination but failed to appear. The letter stated that neither the family nor the party leadership was informed about the timing of the medical check-up.

It further argued that conducting a confidential medical examination without notifying the family has raised serious concerns, adding that excluding the family from medical matters is increasing anxiety and apprehensions.
