Punjab Launches Ramadan Nighban Package, ATM Cards Being Delivered

Lahore: The Government of Punjab has begun delivering ATM cards under the Ramadan Nighban Package, aimed at providing financial assistance to 4 million households with a total allocation of Rs 40 billion.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz expressed gratitude for the launch of the Nighban ATM cards, highlighting that beneficiaries will receive aid without standing in long queues or facing any difficulty. The system is fully digital and transparent, ensuring smooth distribution of funds. Citizens can contact the helpline at 2345-08000 for more information.

Additionally, 160 special centers will be established in each tehsil to facilitate the package. Maryam Nawaz stated that the initiative aims to ensure that no family feels alone during Ramadan. Financial aid under the ration card program has also been increased from Rs 3,000 to Rs 10,000 per month.

The Chief Minister added that Nighban Dastarkhwan centers will provide daily iftar meals to hundreds of thousands of fasting individuals, and subsidized essential items will be made available in convenience markets throughout the province during Ramadan.
