PCB Chairman Leaves for Sri Lanka to Watch Pakistan-India Clash at T20 World Cup

Islamabad: Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Mohsin Naqvi, has departed for Sri Lanka to witness the high-profile Pakistan-India encounter in the T20 World Cup.

According to details, the PCB chief will not only watch the much-anticipated clash but is also expected to meet members of the national squad and hold discussions with heads of various cricket boards.

Sources said that Bangladesh Cricket Board President Aminul Islam, along with other officials of the Asian Cricket Council, is also expected to arrive in Colombo.

Reports suggest that senior officials of the International Cricket Council are likely to be present in Colombo for the marquee fixture.

Pakistan and India are scheduled to face off on Sunday, February 15, at 6:30 pm (PST). Meanwhile, Sri Lanka’s Meteorological Department has forecast light to heavy rain in Colombo over the next two to three days, raising concerns about possible weather interruptions.
