Shahid Afridi and Shoaib Akhtar Express Concern Over Imran Khan’s Health

Karachi: Former Pakistan cricket stars Shahid Afridi and Shoaib Akhtar have voiced concern over the health of former national captain and ex-prime minister Imran Khan.
Afridi, who is currently in Bahrain, responded to a question regarding Imran Khan’s health by saying that health is a fundamental right of every individual. He stressed that Imran Khan should be given the right to receive medical treatment wherever he and his family deem appropriate.

Meanwhile, Shoaib Akhtar wrote in a message on X that he has been raising funds in the United States for Imran Khan’s Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Centre over the past three months.
The last 3 months I’ve been raising funds in USA for Imran Khan’s Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital.
I’m deeply saddened to hear the news of him losing vision in his eye. I hope he gets the best treatment and I’m wishing him a speedy recovery.

Akhtar expressed sadness upon hearing reports about concerns regarding Imran Khan’s eyesight. He said he hopes the former captain receives the best possible medical care and prayed for his speedy recovery.
