Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz Declares Rajanpur and Kacha Areas Cleared of Criminals

ISLAMABAD: Punjab Chief Minister **Maryam Nawaz** announced that the Rajanpur and Kacha regions have been fully cleared of criminals following a decisive operation.

Addressing a meeting on the Kacha operation, Maryam Nawaz said that outlaws in the Kacha areas had established “a state within a state,” creating an environment of fear where people were abducted using honey traps. She noted that she had been informed that the operation in Kacha would be extremely challenging.

“We conducted a decisive operation against criminals in the Kacha areas of Rahim Yar Khan and Rajanpur, with the Pakistan Army supporting the police and law enforcement agencies,” she said. “Each criminal in these areas was tracked using technology.”

Maryam Nawaz added that modern surveillance and human intelligence were extensively used during the operation, with drones deployed to monitor criminal movements. She also thanked the **Sindh Police** and the Sindh government for their full cooperation.

She confirmed that law and order has been fully restored, declaring that Rajanpur and Kacha are now 100 percent cleared of criminals. No casualties occurred during the operation.

“Those who challenge the writ of the state will receive no leniency,” the CM said. “There is no longer any safe haven for Kacha’s criminals. More than 500 outlaws have surrendered. Alhamdulillah, Punjab is now safe.”
