Imran Khan: “I Will Not Bow Before Tyranny, Nation Must Rise on 27th”

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has vowed not to yield under pressure, declaring that he will never bow before “tyranny” or accept slavery. He urged the nation to come out in full strength on September 27 for the upcoming rally.

The message was conveyed by his sister Aleema Khan while speaking to the media after the Toshakhana 2 case hearing. She quoted Imran Khan as saying that attempts to break him were in vain, as he would continue resisting what he termed as “oppression and authoritarianism.”

According to Aleema Khan, Imran Khan criticized the government for crushing PTI, manipulating institutions, suppressing the media, and undermining democracy and the rule of law. He warned that Pakistan’s economic and political situation was deteriorating, drawing parallels with Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal.

Imran Khan further directed PTI leadership to play the role of a genuine opposition, warning that failing to do so would amount to “digging their own political graves.”

Aleema Khan also rejected video-link trial proceedings in the GHQ attack case, calling them an attempt to isolate Imran Khan from his family and lawyers. She said the PTI founder must be physically presented in court, as video hearings would deprive him of proper legal consultation.

She alleged that orchestrated attacks, including egg-throwing and stone-pelting incidents, were being carried out against her, claiming such acts aimed at intimidating PTI’s leadership.

Aleema Khan reiterated that the party’s mission was to spread Imran Khan’s message and that efforts to silence him would fail.
