Banking Hours Announced for Ramadan 2026 in Pakistan

Karachi (Qudrat Daily): The State Bank of Pakistan has announced the expected banking hours for Ramadan 2026, which will remain in effect throughout the holy month.

According to the announcement, all public and private banks across the country will operate with reduced working hours during Ramadan to accommodate employees and customers observing fasts.

Ramadan is expected to begin in Pakistan on Thursday, February 19, or Friday, February 20, 2026, depending on moon sighting. If the month of Shaban completes 29 days, Ramadan will start on February 19; if Shaban completes 30 days, it will begin on February 20. A moon-sighting meeting will be held on the evening of February 18.

**Bank Office Hours:**

* Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
* Friday: 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM

**Customer Transaction Hours:**

* Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
* Friday: 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM

These timings will remain in effect for the entire month of Ramadan, after which normal banking hours will resume.
