Alima Khan’s Son Celebrates Basant; Photos Go Viral
ISLAMABAD (Qudrat Roznama): During the Basant festival in Lahore, Shahrez, son of Alima Khan and nephew of PTI founder Imran Khan, was spotted enjoying kite flying with his family.
Viral photos on social media show Shahrez in a cheerful mood, flying kites alongside children and family members. The images have sparked various comments online, with many describing the celebration as a wholesome family and traditional activity.
Shahrez shared that kite flying held special significance for him during his childhood and that Basant was always an important day for him. He took his children to central Lahore to introduce them to the city’s traditional Basant atmosphere, flying kites from a friend’s rooftop and reliving fond memories.
He added that Basant has always been an integral part of local culture, and he wants his children to experience the joy and cultural vibrancy associated with the festival.
