Supreme Court Schedules Hearing for 13 Different Cases Involving Imran Khan

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) — The Supreme Court has scheduled hearings for 13 different cases involving Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan.

A two-member bench of the Supreme Court, comprising Chief Justice Afreedi and Justice Shahid Bilal, will hear the cases on February 9. The cases include the Punjab government’s appeal against Imran Khan’s bail and a separate appeal concerning the bail of his wife, Bushra Bibi.

The bench will also hear PTI founder’s appeals related to criminal complaints filed with the Election Commission, as well as cases involving the official secretariat and NAB investigations. Specifically, the court has fixed hearings for NAB’s appeal against Imran Khan’s bail in the Al-Qadir Trust case, and appeals in the cipher case challenging the acquittal of Imran Khan and Shah Mahmood Qureshi.

Additionally, hearings have been scheduled for government appeals against Imran Khan’s bail in the May 9 Lahore cases, and for Imran Khan’s defamation appeals against Shahbaz Sharif.

The Supreme Court Registrar’s office has issued notices to all relevant parties and legal representatives regarding the scheduled hearings.
