Kashmir Is Pakistan’s Jugular Vein, Says PPP Leader Haji Ali Madad Jatak on Kashmir Solidarity Day

Quetta: Provincial Minister and central leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Haji Ali Madad Jatak, has said that Kashmir is Pakistan’s jugular vein and the freedom struggle of the Kashmiri people resonates in the hearts of every Pakistani citizen.

In his message on February 5, Kashmir Solidarity Day, Haji Ali Madad Jatak said that the people of Kashmir have been facing Indian oppression, state terrorism, prolonged curfews, enforced disappearances, and severe human rights violations for decades. Despite these hardships, he said, the courage and determination of the Kashmiri people remain unshaken.

He stated that in Indian-occupied Kashmir, Indian forces are targeting women, children, and the elderly, calling it an open challenge to the conscience of the international community. He expressed deep regret over the silence of the United Nations, the OIC, and international human rights organizations, saying that the time has come for the global community to fulfill its responsibilities and ensure the right to self-determination for Kashmiris in accordance with UN resolutions.

Haji Ali Madad Jatak emphasized that the Pakistan Peoples Party has always raised its voice in support of the Kashmiri people. He said that under the leadership of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Pakistan will continue to extend full diplomatic, political, and moral support to Kashmiris at all international forums.

He added that the people, armed forces, and leadership of Pakistan stand united with the Kashmiri people like a solid wall of lead. He expressed confidence that the sacrifices of the Kashmiri people will not go in vain and that the oppressive system cannot last forever, adding that the day is not far when Kashmir will be free and become part of Pakistan.
