Three Killed, Including Woman and Child, in Separate Traffic Accidents in Karachi
Karachi: At least three people, including a woman and a young girl, were killed while three others were injured in three separate traffic accidents across Karachi.
According to rescue officials, a speeding 10-wheeler trailer ran over a motorcycle in the Gulshan-e-Hadeed area, killing a woman on the spot and injuring her husband. Police said the trailer driver fled the scene along with the vehicle, and a search is underway. The affected couple were residents of Thatta.
In another incident near Barki Ground in Surjani Town’s Lyari Pachas C area, a young girl lost her life and two other children were injured after being hit by an unidentified vehicle. Police stated that the accident occurred on a road in a sparsely populated area.
Initial investigations revealed that the children were hit by motorcyclists performing one-wheeling. The children, residents of the surrounding area, were playing outside their homes at the time of the incident. The motorcyclists fled the scene, and police are searching for them.
In a third incident, a man was killed after being struck by an unidentified vehicle near Sector 19-B of Shah Latif Town. Further investigations into all incidents are underway.
