Suspect Arrested from Courtroom in TikToker Sana Yusuf Murder Case

Islamabad (Qudrat Roznama): Ahead of the hearing in the TikToker Sana Yusuf murder case at the District and Sessions Courts Islamabad, suspect Umar Hayat allegedly issued threats. The suspect was subsequently arrested directly from the courtroom.

Additional Sessions Judge Afzal Majoka ordered legal proceedings against the suspect. The boy claimed, “I was in jail with suspect Umar Hayat; I have come to meet him.” Judge Majoka remarked that the police should handle the matter according to the law.

During the hearing, the prosecution recorded the statement of another witness. Prosecutor Raja Naveed Kayani informed the court that all evidence had been submitted.

The defense lawyer of Umar Hayat requested the court to transfer the suspect’s jail barracks. Judge Majoka instructed the Superintendent of Adiala Jail to issue orders regarding the matter.

The court adjourned the hearing in the Sana Yusuf murder case until February 10.
