Wave of Sabotage in Balochistan: High-Voltage Tower Destroyed in Kachhi, Hand Grenade Attacks on Police Checkposts in Dhadar and Sibi

**Dera Murad Jamali:**
Balochistan witnessed a wave of sabotage as unidentified armed individuals targeted key infrastructure and security points in multiple districts. In Kachhi, militants blew up a **220 kV high-transmission electricity tower** at Lamji, part of the line connecting Dera Murad Jamali’s Uch Power Plant to Sibi Grid Station, causing severe damage to the tower. The perpetrators fled the scene before security forces arrived. Police and security agencies quickly reached the site, established checkpoints, and launched a search operation.

Meanwhile, in Dhadar and near Sibi, unknown armed men carried out **hand grenade attacks on police checkposts**, including the Nari Bank checkpoint under Sibi Saddar Police Station. Gunfire exchanged between attackers and police forced the militants to retreat, and no casualties were reported.

Police have registered cases and launched investigations into the incidents, which highlight growing security challenges in the province and threats to critical infrastructure.
