Peace Prevails in Balochistan During Eid Milad-un-Nabi Celebrations: CM Sarfraz Bugti

Quetta: Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has said that the province is witnessing the **rise of peace**, crediting the cooperation of the people for this positive change.
In his message regarding gatherings held on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ, the Chief Minister stated that the peaceful programs sent a strong message to the world that **Balochistan is moving towards peace and development**. He noted that all celebrations across the province concluded safely in a calm environment.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti appreciated the role of religious scholars, the sense of responsibility shown by the people, and praised the performance of the Home Department, police, Levies, Frontier Corps (FC), and other law enforcement agencies.
He said the **temporary suspension of internet services** and limiting of rallies were timely and wise decisions, as nothing is more important than saving human lives. “The protection of people’s lives and property is the government’s top priority,” he added.
The Chief Minister recalled that two years ago, more than sixty people lost their lives in a bombing at a public gathering, stressing that this bitter experience had prompted the **strict security measures** adopted this year.
He further said that the enthusiastic participation of youth and citizens highlighted unity and solidarity, proving that the people of Balochistan desire **peace and progress**.
