Headline:**JUI-B Leaders Warn of Deliberate Destabilization in Balochistan, Urge Government to Restore Law and Order

**Quetta:**
A joint meeting of the provincial working committee and parliamentary members of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-B) was held under the leadership of Provincial Amir Senator Maulana Abdul Wasi. The session focused on the deteriorating law and order situation in Balochistan, employees’ grievances and protests, and the creation of new districts and divisions, resulting in several key decisions.

Addressing the meeting, Senator Abdul Wasi and Provincial Secretary-General Agha Mahmood Shah expressed deep concern over the worsening security situation, claiming that the writ of the state in the province has fallen to “zero” and that the public has been left at the mercy of armed groups. They condemned the loss of lives of law enforcement personnel and civilians, as well as the destruction and looting of public and private property, including banks, fully endorsing the stance of JUI-F leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman on these issues.

The leaders warned that the growing unrest and insurgency demand that federal and provincial authorities acknowledge ground realities, avoid obstructing democratic processes, and take effective measures to stabilize the situation. They stressed the urgent need for timely intelligence and coordinated strategies, noting serious shortcomings that endanger public safety. According to them, the current conditions indicate that Balochistan is being deliberately pushed toward instability.

They further criticized the government for ignoring the legitimate grievances of provincial employees while focusing on creating new divisions. At the same time, they said, law enforcement resources are being diverted to raids on traders’ warehouses, causing significant concern among the business community.

The JUI-B leaders called on the government to take immediate and effective steps to restore peace and order, address employees’ issues, and protect the business community, emphasizing that such actions are essential to rebuild public trust in state institutions.
