PCB Finalizes Contingency Plan if Pakistan Skips ICC T20 World Cup

Lahore:** The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has finalized a contingency plan in case Pakistan does not participate in the ICC T20 World Cup, sources revealed.
According to sources, a meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi is scheduled for today. The meeting, expected to take place at around 6:00 pm, will also include the interior minister. An official announcement regarding the World Cup is likely after the meeting.
Sources said a final decision on whether Pakistan will participate in the T20 World Cup is expected today, with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to make the final call.
Following the decision on participation, a decision regarding the unveiling of the national team’s kit will be made. If Pakistan decides not to take part in the World Cup, the kit launch will be cancelled.
Sources further stated that if Pakistan does not participate in the T20 World Cup, the PCB plans to organize a **four-team tournament in Lahore**. The Pakistan national team and the Shaheens Under-18 teams will be divided into four teams for the proposed tournament.
