Balochistan CM Mir Sarfaraz Bugti Congratulates Newly Elected BUJ Leadership, Hopes for Strengthened Responsible Journalism

**Quetta:** Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, has extended heartfelt congratulations to all newly elected office-bearers and executive committee members of the Balochistan Union of Journalists (BUJ) following the recent elections.
In his message, the Chief Minister congratulated the newly elected President Manzoor Ahmed, Senior Vice President Fareedullah, General Secretary Shah Hussain Tarin, Vice President Zafar Baloch, Finance Secretary Ismat Smalani, Senior Joint Secretary Kifayat Ali, and Joint Secretary Adnan Saeed, along with the executive committee members Raza Rehman, Saleem Shahid, Khalil Ahmed, Shehzada Zulfiqar, Arshad Butt, Murtaza Zahri, Muhammad Amir, and Mohibullah.
Mir Sarfaraz Bugti expressed his hope that the new leadership would play an effective role in upholding journalistic values, freedom of expression, and the protection of journalists’ rights. He emphasized that free, responsible, and strong journalism forms the backbone of any democratic society.
The Chief Minister assured that the provincial government would continue to provide full support for the welfare, protection, and resolution of issues faced by journalists. He reiterated that both the government and journalistic organizations would work together to address challenges confronting the media.
Mir Sarfaraz Bugti conveyed his best wishes to the newly elected leadership and expressed confidence that the Balochistan Union of Journalists would further strengthen positive, constructive, and responsible journalism in the province.
