Askar Khan Assumes Charge as Director General Public Relations Balochistan, Pledges to Enhance Departmental Performance

**Quetta:** Newly appointed Director General Public Relations (DGPR) Balochistan, Askar Khan, has formally assumed charge and started performing his official duties, reaffirming his commitment to further improve the performance and effectiveness of the department.
Upon his arrival at the DGPR office, the outgoing DGPR and senior-most officer of the Information Cadre, Muhammad Noor Khetran, warmly welcomed Askar Khan and formally handed over the charge. Senior officers of the department also met the new DGPR on the occasion, while Askar Khan conducted a detailed visit of various sections of the department.
Speaking to officers, Askar Khan said that the Public Relations Department serves as a strong bridge between the government and the public. He emphasized that effectively highlighting the provincial government’s welfare policies and development projects would remain the department’s top priority.
He further stated that efforts would be made to enhance the professional capacity of the department and promote the use of modern information technology in line with contemporary requirements, in order to ensure timely and accurate dissemination of information to the public.
The DGPR urged officers to dedicate their full energies towards improving the positive image of Balochistan and stressed the importance of teamwork to make the department more dynamic and efficient.
