Prosperous and Peaceful Balochistan Is JUI’s Long-Standing Vision, Not a Mere Slogan: Senator Maulana Abdul Wasay

**Quetta (Daily Qudrat Quetta):** Ameer of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) Balochistan, Senator Maulana Abdul Wasay, has said that a prosperous, peaceful and developed Balochistan is not a temporary or election-time slogan of JUI but a clear, long-standing and principled vision, rooted in public service, constitutional supremacy and full protection of provincial rights.

In a statement, he said that JUI has always fulfilled its responsibilities toward the realization of this vision with sincerity, political insight and practical struggle, and will continue to serve the people of the province with steadfastness, honesty and commitment in the future as well. He added that the political history of Balochistan stands as undeniable testimony to the positive, constructive, principled and people-friendly role played by JUI, which remains a bright and proud chapter in the province’s history.

Senator Maulana Abdul Wasay said that JUI is the only political party that has never viewed the people of Balochistan merely as a vote bank, but has consistently placed them at the center of its politics, striving at every forum to safeguard their rights, resources and identity. He noted that for the development of the province, public welfare and provincial autonomy, JUI has repeatedly set aside personal and party interests, adopted principled positions, and refused to compromise on public interest despite pressure, temptation or political expediency.

He further stated that this unwavering stance is the reason JUI continues to enjoy the trust and unconditional support of people from all schools of thought, languages and communities across the province. According to him, JUI Balochistan is the only broad-based and majority political force that has given equal importance to the issues of urban and rural populations, mountainous and plain areas, as well as underdeveloped and remote regions.

Senator Abdul Wasay emphasized that resolving public problems, addressing long-standing deprivations, ensuring fair distribution of resources and protecting collective interests have always remained the core focus and top priority of JUI’s political agenda in Balochistan.
