Successful CTD Operation Against Terrorists in Pishin Praised by Balochistan CM Mir Sarfaraz Bugti
**Quetta (Daily Qudrat Quetta):** Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti has commended the timely and effective operation conducted by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in Pishin district, highlighting the professional skill and dedication of law enforcement agencies in maintaining peace and security in the province.
In a statement, the CM praised the courage, bravery, and sense of duty of CTD personnel who were injured during the gunfight and extended his best wishes for their speedy recovery. He noted that CTD and police officers are on the frontlines in the fight against terrorism, taking all necessary measures to protect the lives and property of the public.
Mir Sarfaraz Bugti said the recovery of rocket launchers, SMGs, and explosive materials during the operation was clear evidence that terrorists were attempting to sabotage peace in the province and maintained links with banned organizations.
He emphasized that the government prioritizes peace and has given law enforcement agencies clear directives to continue operations under a zero-tolerance policy against terrorism, ensuring impartial and decisive action. The CM also expressed satisfaction that the operation was carried out while safeguarding civilian lives and upholding the writ of the state.
Mir Sarfaraz Bugti warned that there is no space in Balochistan for terrorists, their facilitators, or networks, and counter-terrorism actions will continue with full force until sustainable peace is achieved. He stressed that the protection of the lives and property of Balochistan’s citizens remains the government’s foremost and unwavering responsibility.
