Mystery of Stolen Jewelry and Cash Solved: Victim’s Own Brother Found to Be Culprit

Lahore: The mystery of the theft of valuable jewelry and 1.5 million rupees in cash from a house in Mughalpura has been solved, with the prime suspect turning out to be the victim’s own brother.

According to police, the incident involved the theft of jewelry worth several million rupees and 1.5 million rupees in cash from a resident’s home. The main suspect, it was revealed, is the victim’s biological brother.

DIG Investigation Syed Zeeshan Raza had taken notice of the theft, after which a police team led by SP Investigation Civil Lines Khalid Saeed was tasked with apprehending the suspect and recovering the stolen property. Incharge Investigation Mughalpura Police Station, Moeen Ilyas, along with the police team, successfully arrested the suspect.

Authorities reported that six tolas of jewelry and 1.5 million rupees in cash were recovered from the suspect. The brothers live separately. According to SP Investigation, the victim had locked the house and gone to attend a family wedding, during which the suspect broke in and stole the jewelry and cash before fleeing the scene.

Police confirmed that the suspect was apprehended using professional expertise and modern technology.
