PKMAP Condemns Crackdown on Employees, Expresses Support for Balochistan Grand Alliance

**Quetta:** The Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PKMAP) has strongly condemned the crackdown on employees’ democratic and legal demands and expressed support for the ongoing protest movement led by the Balochistan Grand Alliance.

A representative delegation of the Grand Alliance, led by Muhammad Qasim Jamali, Muhammad Tahir Hotak, Sikandar Lehri, Muhammad Saeed Boriwal, Nemat Kakar, and Arbab Nasrullah Kasi, met with PKMAP Provincial General Secretary Kabir Afghan at the party’s central secretariat. PKMAP’s Provincial Office Secretary Malik Umar Kakar, Deputy Secretary Surat Khan Kakar, and District Office Secretary Naseebullah Niazi were also present.

During the meeting, the delegation briefed PKMAP leaders on the current situation and challenges faced by the alliance. Kabir Afghan stated that PKMAP strongly condemns the ongoing crackdowns, arrests, raids, and violations of the sanctity of personal and organizational spaces targeting over 400 Grand Alliance employees, many of whom are reportedly detained in harsh winter conditions.

He added that instead of addressing public issues, the government’s attention is entirely focused on undemocratic actions against the Balochistan Grand Alliance. PKMAP reaffirmed that it would continue to raise its voice against these actions on all platforms.
