Security Forces Kill Three Indian-Backed Terrorists in Intelligence-Based Operation in Panjgur

**Islamabad:** Pakistan’s security forces have killed three Indian-backed terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in Panjgur district of Balochistan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Monday.

According to ISPR, the operation was carried out after receiving intelligence reports about the presence of terrorists linked with the Indian proxy group *Fitna-e-Hindustan* in the area. Security forces effectively targeted the terrorists’ hideout, and following a heavy exchange of fire, three Indian-sponsored militants were neutralized.

ISPR identified the killed terrorists as local militant Sarana Farooq alias Suro, along with Adil and Wasim. A cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosive material was also recovered from their possession.

The military’s media wing stated that the slain terrorists were involved in multiple terrorist activities in the region. Clearance and sanitization operations are currently underway to eliminate any remaining Indian-sponsored militants in the area.

ISPR further said that security forces and law enforcement agencies are continuing counter-terrorism operations under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam” and remain determined to eradicate foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to the security forces for the successful operation in Panjgur and praised them for eliminating three terrorists. He said the forces are achieving successes under Azm-e-Istehkam and that the entire nation stands united with the armed forces in the fight against terrorism.

President Asif Ali Zardari also commended the security forces for the successful operation, stating that their role in combating terrorism is highly commendable. He added that operations against *Fitna-e-Hindustan* are essential for national security and that the fight against externally sponsored terrorism will continue.
