KP Chief Minister Suhail Afridi Announces Visit to Adiala Jail on Thursday

**Peshawar:** Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Suhail Afridi has announced that he will visit Adiala Jail on Thursday.

According to a private TV channel, Geo News, Suhail Afridi made the announcement while addressing a rally in Mardan on Saturday. He said that on Thursday, he and his leadership would go to Adiala Jail.

The Chief Minister stated that the responsibility for negotiations has been assigned to Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Allama Nasir Abbas. He added that accountability of what he termed as “thieves, dacoits, and oppressors” would take place very soon.

Meanwhile, during the Chief Minister’s visit to Mardan, citizens staged protests. People who had given their land to Abdul Wali Khan University and other institutions demanded compensation, raising slogans and calling on the government to fulfill its promises.

The situation highlighted growing public grievances over land compensation issues in the region.
