Why Smriti Mandhana and Palash Muchhal’s Wedding Was Called Off: Shocking Revelations from Friend

Mumbai: New details have emerged regarding the cancellation of the wedding between Indian women cricketer Smriti Mandhana and music composer Palash Muchhal, drawing significant attention on social media.

According to recent revelations, Smriti allegedly faced a betrayal during the wedding ceremonies themselves. Actor and producer Vidyan Mane, who claims to be a childhood friend of Smriti Mandhana, stated in an interview that during the wedding festivities held in November 2025, Palash Muchhal was caught in a compromising situation with another woman.

Vidyan claimed that the incident occurred at the wedding venue, in front of guests, and described it as shocking. According to him, Smriti’s fellow women cricketers present at the event reacted strongly, even confronting Palash physically.

He further alleged that Palash Muchhal had defrauded them financially, amounting to 4 million rupees. However, the music composer dismissed these allegations on social media, calling them false and baseless. Palash has not commented on the alleged incident during the wedding ceremonies.

Smriti Mandhana and Palash Muchhal had known each other for several years and were originally scheduled to tie the knot in November. Initially, the wedding was postponed, citing Smriti’s father’s illness, and later both families jointly announced the cancellation of the wedding in early December, keeping the details private.
