Eight Killed in Car–Truck Collision on Mehran Highway Near Hyderabad

At least eight people lost their lives in a tragic road accident on the Mehran Highway near Hyderabad after a car collided with a truck.
According to the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), two people were also injured in the incident. The deceased include two men, one woman, three young girls and two children.
The SSP said that the bodies and the injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities and treatment. The truck driver has been taken into custody by the police.
The exact cause of the accident could not be immediately determined. Police officials said that further investigation is underway to ascertain the circumstances leading to the collision.
