Kidnapped Private College CEO Released in Lahore

Lahore: The kidnappers of a private college’s Chief Executive Officer, Abid Wazir Khan, abducted from Lahore’s Johar Town area, have released him.

According to police sources quoted by a private TV channel, Abid Wazir Khan has safely returned home and his medical condition is reported to be satisfactory.

Police officials said investigations into the kidnapping incident are ongoing, and efforts are under way to identify and arrest those involved. Authorities added that all facts related to the abduction will be brought to light once the investigation is completed.

According to the FIR registered at Johar Town Police Station on January 22, Abid Wazir Khan was kidnapped while he was leaving his office.

The FIR further states that at the time of the abduction, Abid Wazir Khan was on a phone call with a female general manager, who heard the voice of an unidentified person on the line. The unknown individual allegedly told the victim that he had caused an accident with the kidnapper’s vehicle.
