**Islamabad:** During the signing ceremony of the “Board of Peace” charter at the World Economic Forum in Davos, U.S. President Donald Trump notably gestured toward Pakistan’s Chief of Defence Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, welcoming him with a smile. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also attended the event alongside the Pakistani military leadership, drawing significant attention from global leaders.

Pakistan accepted the U.S. invitation and signed the Gaza Peace Agreement at the event. The 56th annual World Economic Forum in Davos saw participation from heads of states from various countries.

Trump formally announced the establishment of the “Board of Peace,” describing it as an effective platform for resolving international conflicts. He stated that 59 countries are involved in Middle East peace efforts, with many other world leaders showing interest in joining the forum. After Trump signed the charter and presented it to the media, other global leaders, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, also signed the document.
