T20 World Cup: Pakistan May Follow Bangladesh’s Lead in Boycott if Team Refuses to Play in India

Lahore: Today is a crucial day for Bangladesh regarding their participation in the T20 World Cup in India.
Sources indicate that if Bangladesh refuses to play in India, Pakistan could also consider boycotting the tournament. Bangladesh’s Sports Advisor, Asif Nazrul, is scheduled to meet the players at 2 PM (Pakistan time) to brief them on the government’s stance.
Most Bangladeshi players are reportedly in favor of participating in the World Cup. After the meeting, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) will communicate its official decision to the International Cricket Council (ICC).
If the Bangladeshi team decides against traveling to India, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) may also exercise the option to boycott the tournament.
The ICC has confirmed that the T20 World Cup schedule will not be changed, giving Bangladesh the choice to either play in India or skip the event.
