Rana Arshad’s Elder Brother Passes Away; Punjab CM Expresses Condolences

**Lahore:** **Rana Nawaz**, elder brother of **PML-N Chief Whip in Punjab Assembly Rana Arshad**, has passed away after being hospitalized due to a liver-related illness.

The funeral prayer for the late Rana Nawaz will be offered on **Tuesday at 2 PM in his ancestral town, Shahkot**.

**Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz** expressed deep sorrow over his passing and extended her condolences to the grieving family. She prayed for the **elevation of the deceased’s status in the hereafter** and for patience for his relatives during this difficult time. Maryam Nawaz stated that she **shares in the grief of Rana Arshad and his family** and prayed that Allah grants the departed soul a place in **Jannat-ul-Firdous**.
