Quetta DIG Suspends Two SHOs Over Negligence and Corruption
**Quetta:** In a decisive move to enforce departmental discipline, **DIG Quetta Imran Shaukat** has suspended the Station House Officers (SHOs) of two police stations for negligence and misconduct.
According to an official statement, **Mujahid Abbas**, SHO of **Khurotabad Police Station**, was suspended over allegations of corruption and dereliction of duty, while **Syed Mustafa Shah**, SHO of **Quaidabad Police Station**, faced suspension for unprofessional behavior.
DIG Imran Shaukat emphasized that negligence, corruption, and violations of law within the police force are unacceptable and that strict departmental action will continue against such elements.
The statement added that **Inspector Abdul Basit** has been appointed as the new SHO of Quaidabad, and **Inspector Irfan Mengal** will take charge as SHO of Khurotabad. These transfers and postings are effective immediately.
The DIG reiterated that providing the public with **professional and efficient policing** remains the top priority, and no lapses will be tolerated at any level.
