The iconic track “Saanu Nehar Walay Pul Te Bula Ke”, recorded nearly five decades ago, is currently trending on Instagram, where it is being widely used in reels, particularly by young Indian users. According to Indian media reports, the song was recorded around 50 years ago, yet its timeless melody and relatable lyrics have made it popular among today’s youth. The scale of its popularity can be gauged from the fact that a 43-second clip of the song has been used in over 100,000 Instagram reels.
The trend gained momentum after a group called “Patiala Mehfil” shared a video featuring the song, which went on to receive millions of views.
