President Trump Invites Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to Join Gaza Board of Peace
Islamabad (Qudrat Daily): US President Donald Trump has invited Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to join the Gaza Board of Peace, established under President Trump’s proposed initiative for the region.
According to Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Andarabi, Pakistan has received a formal invitation to become part of the Gaza Board of Peace. He said Pakistan will continue to play an active and constructive role in global efforts aimed at ensuring peace and security in Gaza.
The spokesperson stated that Pakistan will remain engaged with the international community to promote sustainable peace in Gaza. He emphasized that a permanent solution to the Palestine issue must be in accordance with United Nations resolutions. Pakistan, he added, will continue to support diplomatic efforts for lasting peace in the Middle East.
It is worth noting that the White House had announced the names of members of the Gaza Board of Peace a day earlier under President Trump’s plan.
