Overseas Pakistanis Are a Valuable National Asset, Always Stand with Pakistan in Difficult Times: Punjab Governor

**Islamabad:** Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan has termed overseas Pakistanis a valuable asset of the country, saying that despite challenges, they have always stood by Pakistan in every difficult time.

He was addressing a dignified ceremony organized in his honor by the Pakistan Business Forum, which was attended by a large number of overseas Pakistanis from across Europe. Speaking on the occasion, the governor praised the role of overseas Pakistanis in supporting the national economy and promoting Pakistan’s positive image abroad.

Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said that when the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) comes into power, a permanent and transparent solution will be devised to address complaints related to land grabbing and illegal occupation of properties owned by overseas Pakistanis. He assured that Pakistanis living abroad would never be disappointed and that the PPP would continue to raise its voice for the protection of their rights.

He emphasized that overseas Pakistanis are the best ambassadors of the country and play a vital role in projecting a positive image of Pakistan to the world. Referring to recent national developments, the governor said that after the “Battle for Truth,” the Pakistani passport is now viewed with respect internationally, which is a matter of pride for the entire nation. He added that under the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Pakistan defeated a powerful enemy, proving that no force can overcome the nation when it stands united.

Criticizing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said that politics of agitation, chaos, sit-ins, and confrontation, instead of reconciliation, has been the hallmark of a particular party, causing harm to the country.

In conclusion, the Punjab governor urged overseas Pakistanis to support the Pakistan Peoples Party, stating that the party believes in resolving public issues and strengthening national unity.
