Mystery Behind Raid on Trader’s House Solved: Confession Reveals Role as Facilitator in Over 200 Robberies

Karachi: The mystery surrounding a raid conducted by plainclothes personnel at the house of trader Zeeshan in North Nazimabad has been solved, police said on Tuesday.

According to police, Zeeshan has been identified as a key facilitator of a dacoit gang involved in more than 200 robbery incidents across different areas of the city. A video statement of the arrested suspect has surfaced, in which he confessed that the gang used to sell looted goods to Zeeshan.

The suspect further revealed that Zeeshan would also take steps to secure the release of gang members in case of their arrest.

Police officials stated that the arrested suspect is facing 14 serious criminal cases, including charges under anti-terrorism laws. Further investigations are currently underway.

Police believe that this arrest will help curb street crime and dismantle criminal networks operating in the city.
