Treatment Under Health Card Must Not Be Stopped, Balochistan CM Takes Emergency Notice

Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti has taken strict notice of reports regarding the suspension of medical treatment under the health card scheme at hospitals in Karachi, and has sought an immediate report from the Health Department and officials of the Health Card Program.
The chief minister directed the provincial health minister to resolve the issue on an urgent basis and ensure that no patient is denied medical treatment under the health card facility.
Mir Sarfaraz Bugti also ordered the immediate payment of outstanding dues to all hospitals, emphasizing that treatment for poor patients through the health card program must continue without interruption. He made it clear that any delay or obstruction in providing medical care under the scheme would not be tolerated.
