Karachi Weather Alert: Cold Wave to Ease, Temperatures Expected to Rise Gradually

Karachi: The cold wave in Karachi continues due to icy winds coming from Balochistan, with the city recording a minimum temperature of 9.5°C today.
According to the Meteorological Department’s Early Warning Center, a gradual increase in overall temperatures is expected from tomorrow. Winds from northeastern Balochistan are likely to balance out, with morning winds coming from Quetta and later shifting from the southwest over the sea.
As the influence of Balochistan winds decreases, the current cold spell is expected to ease, bringing milder weather. However, slight chill may still be felt during mornings and nights over the next few days.
The Meteorological Department has forecast minimum temperatures between 9–11°C on Wednesday and 10–12°C on Thursday. Early morning fog on Thursday may reduce visibility in the city, and fog is also expected in the plains of the province during morning hours.
