Immediate Ban on Tree Cutting and Pruning in Lahore

**Islamabad:** The **Horticulture Agency** in Lahore has imposed a strict ban on the **unauthorized cutting or pruning of trees**.

According to the **Agency (APHA)**, even minor trimming of trees **without prior written permission** is now prohibited.

The **Managing Director of the Horticulture Agency, Mansoor Ahmed**, directed all directors and field staff to ensure **strict compliance with the orders**. He emphasized that any violations will be dealt with **according to the law**.

The move aims to **protect trees and preserve the environment**, preventing unnecessary cutting and damage. Citizens and relevant authorities are being informed about the ban to ensure that all measures are implemented **transparently and effectively**.
