Oil Production Begins from Another Well in Sindh

Karachi: Oil production has commenced from another well in Sindh, marking a significant achievement for the Oil & Gas Development Company (OGDC).

According to an OGDC spokesperson, the Pasakhi-14 well, located in Hyderabad district, has started producing 1,100 barrels of oil per day. OGDC holds a 100% working interest in Pasakhi North D&P Block.

The spokesperson added that drilling at Pasakhi-14 was completed at a depth of 2,183 meters. Advanced technologies, including RSS, MWD, and nitrified mud systems, were employed for the first time in this well. Additionally, modern ESP technology has been installed to ensure optimal production delivery. OGDC continues to invest consistently in exploration and development across the region.
