Five Killed, Several Injured in Cylinder Explosion in Islamabad’s G-7/2 Sector

Islamabad: At least five people were killed and several others injured in a cylinder explosion in Islamabad’s G-7/2 sector on Friday.

According to initial reports, the explosion damaged multiple houses in the area. Rescue teams evacuated around 15 people from the affected homes, while the injured were shifted to nearby hospitals for immediate medical treatment.

Police officials and rescue personnel reached the site soon after the incident. The area has been cordoned off as rescue and relief operations continue.

Authorities said investigations are underway to determine the exact cause of the explosion.
