Dialogue is the Only Solution, Will Approach Zardari, Nawaz, and Shehbaz: Fawad Chaudhry

Lahore: PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry has emphasized that dialogue is the only way forward for Pakistan and said he will approach former President Asif Ali Zardari, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to engage all political parties in discussions.

Speaking to the media during the Lahore Bar elections, Chaudhry highlighted the significance of Lahore Bar as Asia’s largest bar, where annual elections are held through a democratic process. He praised lawyers for their efforts to uphold the rule of law.

Chaudhry said that elections in Pakistan should follow the same democratic principles observed worldwide. He also appreciated the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) for welcoming PTI in SIndh, calling it a positive gesture. He noted that the reception of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister in Sindh also reflected political civility. Chaudhry added that Bilawal Bhutto’s politics reflects the legacy of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.

The former federal minister stressed the need for dialogue among political parties to resolve national issues. He said meetings involving Zardari, Nawaz Sharif, and Shehbaz Sharif, along with other party leaders, would help settle outstanding matters.

Addressing the issue of imprisoned PTI women leaders, Chaudhry suggested that sentences for those unable to surrender immediately should be suspended.

Commenting on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, he said PTI has a better understanding of the province’s challenges, including security concerns, as the party has been elected there for the third time. He asserted that PTI is best placed to address KP’s issues and restore stability in the province.
