PTI Is Fully on Board With Federal Government and Establishment on All Matters, Claims Sher Afzal Marwat

**Islamabad (Daily Qudrat):** Member of the National Assembly Sher Afzal Marwat has claimed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is completely aligned with the federal government and the establishment on all major issues. He said that since the formation of the new Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, there has been no condemnation of drone operations, indicating institutional coordination.
Speaking in an interview, Sher Afzal Marwat said that the statements or tone of a single individual should not be considered the official narrative of the entire PTI. He noted that terrorism has plagued Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the past 25 years and asserted that PTI is fully on board with the federation and the establishment on all key matters.
He questioned whether anyone had heard the new KP government condemning drone operations after coming into power. He further claimed that Afghan nationals have been expelled from KP and that military operations are underway in Tirah Valley. However, he alleged that the provincial government is misrepresenting the situation by claiming that no operation is taking place. He added that preparations for operations are also underway in Bajaur and two to three other areas.
Marwat said that being on board with the federation and the establishment is a positive development, but alleged that PTI, due to fear of social media backlash and in an attempt to maintain an anti-establishment narrative among the public, often condemns actions that the state considers necessary.
He also referred to remarks attributed to PTI founder Imran Khan, claiming that Shahbaz Gill had installed software on Khan’s mobile phone and provided access to intelligence agencies without his knowledge. Marwat further alleged that Khan’s two mobile phones were stolen and handed over to former ISI chief Faiz Hameed.
