No General, Judge, or Politician Has Been Punished for Violating Constitution, Says Mahmood Khan Achakzai

**Lahore (Qudrat Daily):** Mahmood Khan Achakzai, head of the opposition alliance Tehreek-e-Tahaffuz-e-Aain Pakistan, has urged party workers to join protests on February 8, stating that, to date, no general, judge, or politician in Pakistan has faced punishment for violating the constitution.

Speaking at a PTI Women Wing event held at Karachi Shaheed Hall, Lahore High Court, Achakzai highlighted the ongoing gender inequalities in the country. He said that women cannot be considered truly free, as societal perceptions continue to undermine their abilities, reducing them to wearing a dupatta or simply attending markets, which does not equate to full rights.

He added that while religion honors women—emphasizing that “paradise lies at the feet of mothers”—today, women in Balochistan, Punjab, Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are often denied their rightful status. According to Achakzai, women are frequently forced to obey male authority, often sacrificing their autonomy in the process.
